Many of us have discovered the unique thirst-quenching of an Arnold Palmer. An invention of its namesake, this combination of lemonade and iced tea is perfect for recovering from a strenuous day on the links. With the addition of vodka, often tea-infused, the drink is popularly known as a John Daly.

A chilly respite from the heat, this thirst-quenching concoction is possibly the most delicious way to replenish your fluids — or simply enjoy a day with friends in the sun.

*To make tea-infused vodka, add a tablespoon of tea leaves, or 2 tea bags, to a fifth of vodka and shake. Let this steep for around 3 hours before straining.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tea-infused vodka

  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice

  • 1 ounce honey

Add ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake thoroughly. Strain over fresh ice and enjoy!

Alternately, you can go the simple route and combine 3 parts tea (with sweet tea, peach tea and raspberry tea popular favorites), 1 part lemonade and a few healthy shots of vodka — tea-infused or not. This way you can whip up a batch big enough to serve everyone in no time.
